Say, Kiva, if you don't want that grain,
we'll be glad to help you out.
We might step in that trailer
if there's grain involved.
Dang it!
Missed our chance.
Ma! Give with the cookies!
Apple? Carrots? Gatorade?
FINE then.
A good roll in the mud
always makes me feel better.
What's that? You just got done
grooming me?
Oops, my bad.
Ha! You're not the boss of me, Jazu!
I'm not even 7 months old and
I'm
almost as tall as you!
Oh, oh, another one!
Say Sweetie,
if you don't want that grain ...
I'm a growing boy!
I can't wait all day,
nom, nom, nom!

The boys here do the same thing. As soon as I've finished grooming them, it's off for a good roll in the dust, dirt or mud. Go figure.
Looks like a good session practicing loading
Look at that baby walk into that trailer like good boy!!!!
Laughing at them into the goodies on the table.. typical horses!!!
Jeni, that's not the baby — it's one of his half sisters, Sweetie (O Sweet Surprise). He did step in the trailer for us earlier, but no pix to prove it.
What was really funny was that 3x Heather got grain in buckets to entice Baby D, then Kiva and Sweetie into the trailer. All 3x, Poco and Jaz marched themselves around and put themselves in a stall, thinking they would get grain. Talk about programmed response ala Pavlov!
Aww hes so cute, but looks like hes gonna be big!
love all the pictures! how could you not have fun with all that going on around you.
Oh yes trailer breaking days.... there is a "horse baby moment" I don't miss. Its a good when its done but a pain while its going on, even if everything goes smoothly. Just one of the many things I wish they were born knowing...
Tee Hee...a glimpse into the mind of the equine.
