those are neat!! my sister had brought german nesting dolls home for us when she was in high school. I loved playing with them.

I call it Eccentric Eclectic ;-) I buy what I like, knowing that eventually, everything will find its own place.
BTW, that's actually my china cabinet, not open shelves. It's filled with that Bulgarian pottery, which I found at a roadside stand in Tallequah, Oklahoma.
I like your taste. I'm thinking you might have a gift for interior decoration. We just installed light pine blinds with dark brown fabric tape in some of our windows, and now it feels like we are living in a cottage in the Alps.
heheh. Your eclectic style pleases me. We used to have exchange students from Scandinavia spend a year with us while I was a teenager. Every Christmas their families would include me when sending their kids gifts. I ended up with a few of those horses, too.
The Mexican pottery and Dia de los Meurtos dolls are beautiful and fun!
