They were jubilant to be home.

Haha! You and me both.
My husband said once that he could never ride again, watching them when they are like this would be enough. Quite poetic, for my husband, but I agree. Yesterday I came home from riding and the herd was in the pasture. My mare called for them & they called back. I waited as I wanted to watch her go to them. She took her time. Rolled, went to the tank and got a drink. Called to them one more time & then off she went full speed! What a beautiful end to a gorgeous day!
There is nothing like watching horses run, just to run. Absolutely beautiful.

That is my favorite time to photograph my horses!! I love when they come out of any kind of "confinement" are run like that!! What fun thanks for sharing that with us!!
