Dirty White Boyz

"Hey, baby, if you're feelin' down
I know what's good for you all day
Are you worried what your friends see
Will it ruin your reputation lovin' me

'Cause I'm a dirty white boy
Yeah a dirty white boy
A dirty white boy"

"Dirty White Boys"
Lou Gramm & Mick Jones (Foreigner)
From the album "Head Games" 1979

Triple digit temps have me hurrying home
to hose down my miserable horses.
As soon as I untied them, I walked the 20 ft.
or so to prepare their buckets.
Pokeymon has his priorities straight.

Jaz couldn't wait.

Lovely.

Ooh, what's that?

Mmmmm!
Cold, sweet, Texas Ruby Red grapefruit!

Now that the food's gone ...

... we have a dirty roan boy too.

It don't get no better'n this!

Oh man - look at the dirt! lol - those guys are funny. My horse is always dirty too. My barn owner has one gelding that hates the dirt. He is always spotless - not fair!

Cool that the horses like grapefruit!

I had to take a closer look but yup, they certainly beat the ladies of Ishtar's Ark! Thankfully, we have little mud, only sand and dust, which they shake off after a while... They're still true cuties though!!

Gotta love those dirty horses!
We set up misting spots for the horses when it gets real hot here, that way they can cool off whenever they want

You must have some rich dirt there in Texas. It sticks like glue. I'll bet you can grow some nice things, even on your horses' backs. Hee hee.

Looks like a mud mask to the max! lol!
WellI guess you can't bottle up that good stuff for sale. Horse don't have any moolah and humans don't want it. lol!
Great photos, though. I enjoyed the muddiness!
We don't have mud around here for long. It dries and is easily wiped away.

I had no idea that horses eat grapefruit...skin and all??
Mmmm, you're making me hungry for some now. It's been a long time!
