And Remarkably ...

... it fits the other one, too!
I don't think he looks quite as handsome as Jaz
in the lighter leather, but not bad.
I used a thinner pad than the one
I used for Jaz.

I watched him move in the round pen,
then hopped on.
It's not as muddy here as at the farm,
and the round pen drains well.
I've never seen Poco carry his head
as low as he did today.
I think he likes it.

I took him out the gate,
walked down the road
a few hundred yards,
and hopped on again
to ride back.
Besides just being Poco,
he did pretty well.

I think we're off to a
great start with the new saddle.

Oh, and my little tank is
a BRICK.
All that running around and
playing with Scorch
has muscled him up.
Look at his chest.
He is solid.

I really like it - it looks extremely comfy! And yes he does look quite dashing in the new saddle.

Jaz is the steady sure one. Poco's unpredictable on his best day.

I'm so excited. The weather is just gorgeous, if only it holds til the weekend.

He totally is a BRICK.

I didn't know you could get a saddle to fit a brick, but >shrug< there's the photo so it must be true!

Good news!! It looks nice on both horses. It's a beautiful color. My mom is picking up her new saddle soon, I'm so jealous. I sat in it at the tack shop, I liked it. I'm not in a position to get a new saddle for a while. Mine is nice, for an older saddle. It's just not comfy for really long trail rides.
