White Christmas in Texas!

North Texas is in the midst of
the rare white Christmas.
It began as rain this morning,
then got super cold and windy,
and has been snowing ever since.

The horses have been playing non-stop all day,
probably just to stay warm.
I waited until the rain stopped
to blanket them.
They already had ice forming
on their coats,
though neither one was shivering.

This photo was taken before whiteout conditions set in.

Merry Christmas
and a happy, healthy,
and prosperous New Year
from all of us at
Casa Fry.

Peace.

We rarely have snow on Christmas in Cincinnati, coming from Michigan it is the one thing about winter that I miss.

Enjoy it and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

OH MY GAWD!!! So glad it didn't come here! :) Hope you enjoyed it and it leaves you all warm again quickly! I moved to Texas to get away from that weather. Although it did pick a darn nice day to do it! White Christmas...even I can appreciate that. (Kind of...)! :)
Hope it was great, and I look forward to meeting you one of these days...maybe when we make our trip up to that lake you recommended. Next trip it's my turn to pick the place; I still have the info. and maps you sent!!! :)
